Welcome to The Great CoMission

Welcome to The Great CoMission, a Christian, patriotic, prepper community designed for everyday people who want to take back control of their lives and prepare for the unexpected—right where they are. You don’t need acres of land to start this journey. Whether you live in a suburban neighborhood, a city apartment, or have a little patch of country, you can start building resilience, self-sufficiency, and stronger community connections today.

Why Prepare?

Our mission is rooted in the Great Commission, as Jesus instructed us in Matthew 28:16-20 to “go and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” As we build stronger, more resilient communities, we also seek to spread His Word and live out His teachings, preparing not just for physical challenges, but spiritual ones as well.

We live in uncertain times. From natural disasters to economic instability, the need for preparedness is greater than ever. But prepping isn’t just about survival—it’s about thriving. It’s about being good stewards of what God has given us, taking care of our families, and building stronger communities grounded in faith and fellowship.

Where Do We Start?

Here, we start with prayer. Seeking God’s guidance is the foundation of everything we do. We’ll also focus on building connections with our neighbors through backyard BBQs, Bible studies, and community events. Strong bonds create stronger, safer communities.

Next, we look inward—decluttering our homes of what we don’t need to make room for what matters. Prepping isn’t just about storing supplies; it’s about being intentional with our space and our resources.

Growing and Raising Our Own Food

No matter your living situation, you can start growing your own food. We’ll teach you how to maximize small spaces for gardening, from container gardens on a balcony to raised beds in your backyard. We’ll also walk you through the process of building chicken coops—yes, even on a small lot—to provide fresh eggs and a little bit of self-sufficiency.

Learning to Do for Ourselves

Being self-sufficient means knowing how to repair your home, fix what’s broken, and handle basic maintenance. We’ll cover homesteading skills that are practical and doable, no matter where you live. Together, we’ll learn how to make repairs, secure our homes, and create spaces that are both functional and fortified.

Financial Preparedness

A huge part of being prepared is getting our finances in order. We’ll talk about paying off debt, budgeting, and living within our means so we can invest in what matters most—our families, our homes, and our communities.

Join the Journey

If you’ve felt that tug in your spirit to be more prepared, more connected, and more self-sufficient, you’re in the right place. At The Great CoMission, we’re building a movement of Christian patriots who are ready to step up, take action, and live out their faith by being good stewards of what God has given them. Together, we can do this—one prayer, one garden, one neighbor at a time.

Welcome to the community. Let’s get started.
